MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION:
This year in order to simplify our membership application, we will have two categories of membership.  The first category is for AADE members and will cost $30.  The second category is for non AADE members and will cost $40.  This category was formed in an effort to extend our membership to people interested in the networking and education but not yet interested in being members of AADE.  The only difference in benefits is the ability to vote.  AADE requires that voting members of RMADE must be members of AADE.  We are looking forward to this change making membership in RMADE easier for our peers who are members of other national organizations.

As a chapter of AADE, the American Association of Diabetes Educators, we benefit from and influence the work being done nationally.  AADE promotes diabetes education with a bimonthly peer reviewed journal of diabetes education, a strong presence in the legislative arena to promote an effective environment for diabetes education, and numerous education programs which provide professional support to its members.
