About Us

The Rocky Mountain Association of Diabetes Educators (RMADE) is a state chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE).

RMADE Vision:
RMADE is the premier resource for health professionals in the field of diabetes education in the Rocky Mountain Region.

RMADE Purpose:

1. Provide educational opportunities for health professionals interested in advancing their knowledge of evidence-based diabetes management and education.
2. Promote quality diabetes education for people with diabetes.
3. Foster communication and engage in collaboration with individuals and organizations involved in the care and treatment of diabetes.

RMADE Mission:
Promote the profession of diabetes education by growing new educators and enhancing the skills of current educators, advocating for people with diabetes and professionals that treat diabetes, and improving diabetes care in the Rocky Mountain Region.

There are approximately six educational programs offered for continuing education yearly. Most of our member meetings are held the third Wednesday of every other month at
5:30 pm at the Center for Spinal Disorders in Thornton, Colorado.
